This is my backyard forest. While hiking or skiing there I have seen foxes, deer, moose, mink, raccoons, wild boar but no bears or wolves. Not sure if they live there, but at times I make noise when hiking just to make sure they know I am coming and get out of the way. 

The animals are getting used to me. When I see one I freeze and we stare at each other until the animal goes on doing whatever it was doing. They no longer run from me, and I like that. Becoming one with nature is healing for the soul.
